Eternal life.
Everyone wants it.
Gusess what? Everyone does have eternal life, or rather will exist forever. It is a question of where. According to the bible it is either with Jesus or the lake of fire. (Mark 9:43-48, Revelation 20:10,14-15)
You see, there are two roads we can take in life, the road to glory or the fools highway. The road to eternity with Jesus is a rather narrow one, he said "...narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:14) Why so? Blindness my friends. Spiritual blindness from satan brought on oneself by pride. (II Cor. 4:4)
To change course from the wide avenue to the narrow way one must choose to. Pride must be dropped and ones sinfullness must be acknowleged. None of us are sinless. Romans 3:10 tells us "...none are righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." So listen up - the first thing you should do is cry out to the Lord asking forgiveness. He is waiting with open arms to forgive you (I John 1:8-10)but if you are trusting in your own "goodness" you will remain on the broad highway to eternal detruction. Ask Christ into your heart - your life.(Rev. 3:20, John 1:12, John 3:16) If you are sincere - He will. You won't be perfect, but perfectly forgiven. Your attitude and direction will change. This is called being born again. (John 3:3) You will have a new direction in life because your King, one Jesus, will be ruler and director. Your name will be written in the book of life.(Philip.4:3) By the way, about being "born again" to see the Kingdom, Jesus said "Ye must be born again."(John 3:7) He didn't say it's a good idea, so friend, please take Him seriously. Eternity is at stake. Your eternity. Please do. You shall hear "...enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."(Matt.25:23)
